Details are:

- old breeders pics of your own, or current pairs you have is perfect

- Will require to send one picture showing both pairs

2) Distractions other than subject fish should be eliminated or kept to a minimum (other fish, date-time stamps, tank equipment etc.).

3) Fish photographed should be in focus. Out of focus background is ok (depth of field limits) as long as subject is in focus.

4) Fish blurry by movement should be avoided.

5) Framing should include the whole fish in a natural pose. To cut-off the rear of fish detracts from overall picture balance.

6) Tank should be clean (algae, watermarks, etc.), specially the glass you are photographing through.

7) Camera lens should be clean.

8) Photo quality should be good. Observe how whole picture is composed, should be in harmony and pleasant to the observers eyes.

9) Light balance should be natural, not overtly blue or red.

10) Flash and other reflections should be avoided.[/color]

2011 Summer FlowerHorn FEST

Im happy to announce that we are going to have another exciting and special event coming your way. Since it was a blast for many on the first event, bro Albert aka Pokerholics went ahead and gather everyone to do another fun filled event at bro E-5 aka Anthony shop at Lotus Aquarium. This will surely strenghten the unity and our hobby that we loved so much.

Everyone is cordially invited, so please come and join us for an exciting event. From what I've heard it's the best Flowerhorn Event so far in SoCal. Free Flowerhorn Competition, lots of food and drinks, free give aways, DJ entertainment, bouncer for the kids, and Raffle Prizes, you can't beat all that.

Since the last show we had, Anthony and Ice Man were the only one that pretty much donated food. Even with that, it wasn't enough. So if any wants to pitch in for extra food and drinks please bring it to the show. If you are out of state or could not attend, WE gladly accept any donation.
