THERE HAS BEEN A LOT A TALK AND PICTURES ABOUT ALBINO FLOWERHORNS RECENTLY. I HAV EXAMINED THE PROPOSED ALBINOS AND NONE HAS A RED EYE. LAST YEAR I BRED A FISH FROM A KAMFA MALE AND A MIDAS FEMALE. SHE GAVE BIRTH TO ABOUT 130, ONE OF WHICH STARTED LOSING IT COLOR RAPIDLY. IT IS NOW 6 1/2 INCHES LONG AND IS DIRTY WHITE (UNICOLOR) WITH RED EYES. IT'S NOT PURE FLOWERHORN BUT DOES COME CLOSEST TO BEING AN ALBINO. OF THE FISH I'VE SEEN

I will eventually post a picture. I'm too old to instinctively operate my WebCAM. But I agree mine looks more like an albino that the pics I've seen as none of the ones I've seen on YouTube have red eyes, which technically would make them Leucistic. Thanks,Rrobert
